We relaunched a 35 year-old company as a software startup.
The world leader in corporate trainings for suicide prevention was an analog machine in a digital world. They offered low-cost, highly dependable, in-person staff trainings – but while the content LivingWorks offered was unmatched for its quality, its analog-based training systems were seen as outdated. If they didn’t reinvent, they risked becoming irrelevant.
We improved every aspect of the brand experience. Cactus modernized LivingWorks’ brand, persona and identity to better align with today’s HR decision makers, and we collaborated to reinvent the training programs themselves by developing new product modules and videos that all took place through an interactive app. In short, we helped a company that’s the best on the planet at what they do, become the best on the planet at how they do it.
Within just the first six months, more than 180,000 people learned suicide prevention techniques through the new LivingWorks Start online training. Because of the immersive online training platform developed by Cactus, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit just a short time after launch, LivingWorks was able to continue conducting lifesaving, online suicide prevention trainings across the globe.
