7.27.06 - Show at Studio 3559

Burgeoning curators Kate Delaney and Sarah Swartzendruber have put together a very unique show called "UNENTITLEDS," comprised of works that artists have made as creative explorations unintended for the publics eyes. It's a peek into the processes and experimentations that lead up to the works that are displayed in galleries. I am proud to be sharing wall space with the very talented Tsehai Johnson, Frank T. Martinez and Ethan Jantzer among others.

1.12.06 - New Series and Site Update

I have completed my latest series entitled VALLARI, and hope to be showing it sometime in the next year. Website updates include; moving my EUROPIUM series from my 'private viewing' page to my 'personal work' page, as well as adding several photos to my 'rockstars' page. 11.23.04 - Airborn Art

Frontier Airlines' "Wild Blue Yonder" in-flight television network will be featuring my recent EUROPIUM series on their art program entitled "Different Strokes." The Wild Blue Yonder channel is free to all passengers, and my segment will be running from Nov.-Dec., and possibly January. Keep an eye out for it during your holiday travels.

9.24.04 - Plus Gallery Show

Two pieces from my latest series will be exhibited in an upcoming group show entitled "People Place," at Plus Gallery (formerly +Zeile/Judish Gallery). The show runs from Oct. 16 - Nov. 20, with an artist reception on October 21st. This will be a solid show in a great gallery space. Please join us.

(Paragraph 4) Another notable thing in this first section is Jeff Strahl's "Brussels," a C-print that has a double image of a woman confined in an art nouveau border. The colors -- the yellow flowers against the purple-pink background -- and the repetitive composition mark the piece as an example of neo-pop, which is all the rage right now. It really does look very contemporary.
